1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the TheDronePeople website and the engagement of our drone survey and aerial data services. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services
TheDronePeople provides professional drone survey, aerial inspection, thermal imaging, and aerial data capture services across the United Kingdom. All operations are conducted by CAA-approved pilots in accordance with applicable aviation regulations.
3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
- A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until accepted in writing by both parties.
- TheDronePeople reserves the right to adjust pricing if the scope of work changes materially from the original brief.
4. Booking and Cancellation
- Bookings are confirmed upon written acceptance of a quotation and, where applicable, receipt of a deposit.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled survey date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled survey may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.
- If TheDronePeople cancels a booking due to operational reasons (e.g., weather, equipment failure), the client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
5. Liability
- TheDronePeople holds valid public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance for all commercial drone operations.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the provision of services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project in question.
- TheDronePeople shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring that the site is safe and accessible for drone operations and for obtaining any necessary permissions from landowners or relevant authorities.
6. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of all deliverables (images, data sets, reports, and models) produced as part of the commissioned work.
- TheDronePeople retains the right to use anonymised or non-confidential imagery and footage for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All proprietary methodologies, software tools, and processing workflows used by TheDronePeople remain our intellectual property.
7. Force Majeure
TheDronePeople shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Adverse weather conditions (high winds, heavy rain, fog, low cloud)
- Airspace restrictions, NOTAMs, or temporary flight restrictions imposed by the CAA or other authorities
- Equipment failure or damage
- Acts of God, civil unrest, or government action
In such events, TheDronePeople will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the work at the earliest practical opportunity at no additional charge.
8. Data Protection
Any personal data collected in the course of providing our services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
TheDronePeople reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
